For this exceptional batch, only the ripest, hand-selected  cherries were chosen. Under the guidance of Luis Marcelino, these Geisha cherries undergo a precise double fermentation process in a carefully controlled anaerobic environment. After pulping, they are dried briefly, then returned to the tanks for re-fermentation, ensuring a complex, layered flavor profile.

Over the past four years, Luis has built strong bridges between Colombian coffee farmers and roasters worldwide. In 2022, he launched the Veci project, a collaborative initiative supporting farmers with excellent agronomy but limited on-farm processing. Luis buys their cherries at a premium and uses Aroma Nativo’s fermentation expertise at their facilities in Pitalito, Huila. Full traceability is ensured, and each lot is kept separate.
